Groundhog Pop Up with Scissor Practice



Print the pages.  Have the children color the pieces.  Have them cut
 on the dotted lines of the rhyme page and fold it on the solid line.  Put
glue on the open edge to glue the front to the back.  Cut out the
groundhog.  Staple it to a paint stick.  Have the children insert it into
the rhyme piece, reading the rhyme and popping the groundhog up.
This activity can provide scissor practice.
