Tulip Paint Stick Puppet with Rhyme
Have the children paint a paint stick green. If you prefer not to get messy,
you can have the children color the paint stick green with a green marker.
Print the patterns and make stencils from them. Have the children trace
the tulip and the stem onto construction paper. Have them cut them out.
Now have them glue the pieces to the paint stick. Now print the rhyme, cut it out and attach it to the back of the tulip.
The tune to the rhyme is "I'm a little tea pot."

I’m a little tulip
tall and thin.
I wait all winter for the spring.
When the snow melts
I pop right out.
Welcome Spring is what I shout!
