Felt board for The Little White Duck

Print the patterns.  Cut a 12" x 18" piece of blue felt.  Round and curve the edges to "make a pond".  Use the patterns to cut out the lily pad and the flower.
Hot glue onto the pond piece.  Cut out and assemble the snake, frog, duck
and bug.  Hot glue wiggly eyes to them.  Now, using stiff felt, cut out the  mouse ears.  Glue the pink to the gray pieces.  Then hot glue the ears to a girls hair headband.
To use this felt board set, have one child come up and wear the mouse ears.
Have them use the felt board pieces to retell the story.  The child will act
as a narrator just as the mouse in the book does.
