3 Pigs Build a Brick House Cuisenaire Rod Addition

   

These pages can either be printed in color and used with the Cuisenaire rods or printed in black and white and used with the stamps.  If you haven't used these rods before, they are a wonderful resource to help children with addition.
The rods are all the same width but come in a variety of lengths.
The white rods are one unit long, the red two units long, the light green
three units long and so on....There is an Amazon link for the rods and stamps
at the bottom of the page.

To use this activity print the colored pages.  Have the children use the rods
to make the number sentences listed along the side on the page stacking
the rods to "build" the house.

You could also print the black and white version.  Then have the children use
the stamps to make the number sentences listed along the side of the page to "build" the house.
