Apple Patterning

Print, cut and laminate cards.  Have your children recognize the pattern 
and complete it by either putting pompoms or the expo circle magnets in the dotted circle.  If you are using pompoms, add to the fun and development
of fine motor skills by providing a tweezers for the children to use
in transporting pompoms.

More about the magnets: Purchase circular Expo Brand whiteboard
magnets.  I have seen them at Sam's Club, sometimes packaged with push
pins,  or on EBay.  Have the children put the paper on a cookie sheet. 
I recommend the Bakers Secret brand one that is 9x13.  Have the children
complete the picture by putting a magnet in each circle.  Some people
use pompoms or bingo markers with them.  These magnet can also be  used with Magnet Pages or Magnet Mosaics.
