Egg Carton Butterflies

Following the photo below cut out a four section segment of card board egg carton. 
Trim so that all of the edges are as even as possible.  Take your scissors and snip the inside tall section off.  Hole punch through each of the sections so that you can
run a pipe cleaner through it.  Paint.

Run one section of the pipe cleaner through.  Twist pipe cleaner at the bottom folded edge.
squeeze the cups together and twist the pipe cleaner again.  String a black pony bead on for the head.  Twist again.  Bend the ends of the pipe cleaner over to make antennae. 
These If you turn them over them would make cute candy holders for party favors.  They
ones pictured are not painted so you can see how to cut them and string the pipe cleaner.
