Steer Bean Bag Toss

To make Bean Bags: Cut two bodies for each steer and one head out of cream or tan felt.  Sew around the edge leaving an opening to add beans. 
Fill with beans or rice and then sew the opening shut again.  Hot glue the  head and wiggle eyes onto the steer.

 To play:  Have the kids see how many steers they can “round up”.  Place a  hula hoop on the ground and have the kids toss the bean bags in.  you can make a tally chart to see who gets the most in or just play it for fun.
If you are working with older children you can have each child throw
four bean bags.  Teach the children about percentages.  Who got 25%
in the hula hoop?  Who had more or less?
