Directional Art Idea for Dog's Colorful Day

These activities are designed to give children practice following directions.
The teacher cuts pieces of construction paper in the number and sizes
designated and gives children the pieces.  Teachers tell children the directions.  An example would be...round off the corners of the large
square piece of white construction paper. 
Children are to follow the directions the teacher gives and they end up
with a neat art project once they are finished. 
This little dog would make a cute addition to your bulletin board with the statement, "We had a colorful day".  Then you can mount photos
of children doing colorful activities such as playing with colored play
dough, markers, crayons or blocks, playing on green grass, eating
orange carrots, etc.
