Rhyming Word Match Activity

Take a LEGAL size envelope.  Draw a black line in the center.  Draw a large
circle in the middle of the bottom half.  Draw a face in the circle and color
 all around it.  At the top, color red lines to make the stripes on the hat. 
Cut a piece of red construction paper that is 5.25 x 1.5.  Glue it to the middle of the envelope to make the hat brim.
Print the cards of your choice.  Have the children cut them apart and match the rhyming cards.  Have the children store the cards in their Cat with a Hat envelope.
