Sight Word Activity with the Cat

Print the cat's head.  Print the words of your choice and the hat base.
 The words are only in black and white.  They can be printed on red
 and white construction paper.  You may want to do that with the number words so that the children can put them in numeric order
making a red and white pattern. 
Have the children take a cat and set the hat base on the cat.  Then have them pick sight words reading them as they place them on the hat band building a hat a they go.  Challenge the children to see how
 tall they can get the cat's hat.
