Flower from Dixie Cup with Child's Picture

Cut a small Dixie cup as shown.  Bend the petals down.  Paint the cup.  Paint a craft stick.  Cut leaves from construction paper.  After it is dry, glue the pieces together. You could cut a child's photo into a 1.5" circle and glue it to the center.
These could be used for a bulletin board with a simple saying such as
"We are blooming in first grade."
