Understanding Webbed Feet

Set up a water table.  If you don't have one, a sink or bath tub will work.
Put a plastic bag over the child's hand.  Put a rubber band LIGHTLY
around their wrist.  It is important that the rubber band not be tight on their wrist not to cut off circulation.  Have your child spread their fingers and then run them through the water.  The plastic bag will act like webbed feet
pulling and resisting in the water.  Have them put their fingers together and run them through the water again.  Ask questions and guide the children to realize the purpose of a frogs webbed feet.
