Gingerbread Man Color Word Cookie Sort

This activity is designed to be used by children of differing abilities.  Choose the one that meets the needs of the children you are working with.

The activity to the left is for children who are just beginning to read color words. 
They identify the color word on the plate and put the gingerbread men with the corresponding
colored decorations on the plate. Print the "plates" on white construction paper. 
Print several copies of the gingerbread men.  Cut them out and laminate.
