Count the Dots or Color Recognition Giraffe Felt Board Idea

learning printables for kids

Print the giraffes of your choice.  Cut and laminate.  Put Velcro on the back of each piece.  Hang them
on the felt board.  Say the following rhyme while pointing to one of the giraffes.  Have the children count
the number of spots together while you touch each spot.

To include a listening element to the activity, you could pass the giraffes out to the children. Then change
the words to "Who has the giraffe with (green) spots, with (green) spots, with (green) spots. Who has
the giraffe with (green) spots, bring it to the board now."
