Gorilla Circle Time Letter Recognition Fun

Print the gorilla.  Color and cut out. Adhere the words to the back of the gorilla.  Laminate.  Hot glue to a paint stick.  Print the letters of your
 choice, cut and laminate. 
At circle time.  Give the gorilla to one of the children in the circle. 

 Have the children say,
"Hey Mr. Gorilla, swinging through the trees.  What is this letter please?"
Pick up a letter and have the child identify it.
