Ladybug Bean Bag

Print the pattern.  Cut two body pieces from black felt.  Sew 1/4" from the edge around the ladybug leaving a one inch opening.  Use a funnel to put rice
into the body.  Once it is almost full, sew or hot glue the opening together.
Cut wings from the red felt.  Cut dots from black felt scraps.  Hot glue the eyes dots and wings to the ladybug body.   Make as many as you wish.
You can use these for a variety of games.  You could cut out a large leaf
from green tag board.  Then have the children race to put the ladybugs on the leaf.  If you are working with younger children these would make a great
way to introduce some math activities.  Put two ladybugs on the leaf.
Then put two more on.  Now ask the children how many their are.
