Magnetic Ladybug Count by Fives
Make ladybugs from .75” circular magnets, red fun foam and sharpie
marker. Cut squares that are .75" x .75". Round the corners to make circles.
Cut the circles in half. Use a sharpie marker to make two dots on one wing and three dots on the other wing. Use a hot glue gun to glue the wings to a heavy duty black craft magnet.
Print, cut and laminate pages. Have the children put a paper on a baking
sheet. Have the children identify the number then put the corresponding
number of ladybugs dots on the leaf. Each ladybug has five dots on it,
so encourage the children to count by fives as they put the ladybugs
on the leaves. The leaves are available in both black
and white and color.
