Play dough Mat for a Ladybug Theme

Print the mat and laminate it.  Have the children take red play dough and roll it out with a rolling pin.  Have them take a film canister and use it like a cookie cutter to cut out a circle of play dough.  Have the children cut the circle in half to make two half circles.  Have them put the half circles
on the ladybug bodies to give them wings.  This activity is designed to help children understand the concept of halves.
