Ladybug Spot Count Felt Board

To make a ladybug print the pattern.  Cut a head from black felt.  Cut a body from red felt.  Hot glue the head to the body.  Cut out twenty
black dots from felt. 

To use, put the ladybug on the felt board.  Put a number of dots on the ladybug and sing the following song.

Tune:  The Muffin Man
Ladybug has 1 black spot,
1 black spot, 1 black spot.
Ladybug has 1 black spot,
Pretty ladybug.

If you would like, cut number from felt.  While you are singing, have a child find the number you are singing about and place the number on the felt board.
If you want to vary your activity, you can make spot that are
different colors and change the color word of the song.
