Ski Jump Math Fun

Print the page.  Give each child a skier.  Have them color and cut it out.
  Tape onto a coffee stirrer.  You can find them near the paper plates
at Wal-Mart.  Have the children put a stir stick into the end of the straw.
 Have them blow the straw.
The skier will fly out of the straw. 
Now, set up a start line.  Taking turns have the children blow their straw. 
Then have them measure how far the skier jumped.  Record the findings.
Then have the children compare the numbers to see which skier
jumped the farther.
