Foot Print Penguin Project
Paint the bottom of the child’s foot white. Let it dry. Have the child draw a larger oval around
the foot with a white crayon. Cut it out. This is the penguin’s tummy. Now set out
constructions paper and have the kids cut out pieces for a head, wings and anything
else they want. Assemble the penguins. You can clue them onto a large sheet of construction paper and add the attached poem. This would make a cute display that says,
“We are all the same, we are all different.”
Come and see my penguin.
He’s as silly as can be.
I made him with my foot,
which is a part of me.
