Shape Song Activity

Print, cut and laminate the attached pages.  You might need to make multiple copies depending on the size of your group.  Lay all the cards except the song card upside down.  Have each of the children pick a card.  Then sing the song.  As you sing have each child “secretly” trace their shape with a dry erase marker.  When the song is done, have them hold up their shape and identify it for the class. 
If you want to do this as a take home project, make each child their own sheets and bind them with a book binder.  If you are working with younger children, you can print only the shapes you are trying to reinforce.
