Octagon Snowman

Print the page on white paper, construction paper is recommended.  Have the children cut out the squares.  Then have them cut the corners off the squares to create hexagons.  Have the children glue the hexagon pieces
together to make a snowman.  Give them scraps of construction paper
 to finish the design.
Feel free to get out your "junk" bucket filled with pipecleaners, buttons,
 fabric scraps or rick rack scraps, and other goodies and let the children
use them for their creations.
