Sunflower Weather Reporting and Chart

Print the pages below.  Cut the pieces out and glue the sunflower
head, stem and leaves onto a large sheet of construction paper as
shown.  Do not glue the sunflower centers down! Laminate the flower
centers and the piece of construction paper with the sunflower on it.
Put sticky back velcro on the center of the sunflower and on the sunflower middles. Each day have the children look outside,
determine the weather and then put the appropriate flower center in the middle of the sunflower.  Then have the children record the day
on the weather chart provided.  At the end on the month count up the days and see if you have had more sunny, cloudy, windy or rainy days.
