Ten in the Bed Interactive Emergent Reader

This is really cute!
Take a large business size envelope and open the flap.  Cut down about 3/4"
 on each side of the pocket, then cut all the way across making it straight
 across rather than in the v shape that have.  Now have the children
color or decorate the envelope to make it look like a bed.
Print the pages below.  Have the children color and cut the babies out.  It's
a great time to use multicultural crayons if you have them.  Have them cut
out the pages.  Put the pages in numeric order and staple them to the envelope as shown.  Put the babies in the bed as shown.  Have the children
read the pages and remove one baby as they read each page.
