Train Number Rhyme

Print cut and laminate cards.  If you would like you can hole punch them lace yarn through and make necklaces.  Hand out the Engine Cards.  Have the children identify the number on their necklace.  Say the rhyme and have the child with the specified number do the action that  is stated in the rhyme.

Engine, engine number zero-Use your arm and make a large zero.
Engine, engine number one-count to ten them back to one.
Engine, engine number two-tell us what color are your shoes.
Engine, engine number three-sing to us the ABC’s.
Engine, engine number four-count the windows then count the doors.
Engine, engine number five-name three animals that are alive.
Engine, engine number six-tell us your phone number(or spell your name) real quick.
Engine, engine number seven-can you count to eleven?
Engine, engine number eight-toot your horn and celebrate.
Engine, engine number nine tell us two words that rhyme.
Engine, engine number ten-jump right up and say, “The End”.
