Train Patterning Activities

There are several ways to use these train printables.
1.  You can print the train cars and the train pattern cards, cut and laminate them.  Then have the children use the cards to make the trains on the pattern cards.
2.  If you have little ones, it would be fun to print the train cars and the first train pattern page. 
Then you could have the children make the first train on the pattern cards.  That is the train
from Donald Crews book Freight Train.
3.  If you have older children, print the train pattern cards and the Depot Cards. 
Cut and laminate.  Have the children look at the train, identify the pattern and "park" it at
the appropriate depot station.  Cards that have no pattern are also included so beware!
Certainly there are more ways to use these.  Use your imagination!
