10 Little Tulips Glove Puppet

These are the cutest glove puppets and they are sure to be a hit with your children.
You need two stretchable knit gloves.  On one side of the glove you are going to hot glue felt tulip bulbs down.  On the other side of the gloves, you are going to glue down felt pieces that represent tulips.  When you start singing the rhyme,
your fingers will be closed and the children will see the tulip bulbs.  As you sing, you open your fingers and the children will see the tulips.

Tulip Glove Song
Tune:  Up on the Housetop

Ten tulip bulbs planted in the ground
Waiting very quiet without a sound
The sun came up and the rain came down
And one little tulip popped out of the ground.

…ask how many tulip bulbs need to sprout?

...repeat changing the underlined number.

Here is another rhyme you can use.

There were 1 little, 2 little, 3 little tulips
4 little, 5 little, 6 little tulips
7 little, 8 little, 9 little tulips
10 little tulips by the garden gate.

Oh I picked 1 little, 2 little, 3 little tulips
4 little, 5 little, 6 little tulips
7 little, 8 little, 9 little tulips
10 little tulips for Mother’s Day.
