Shear the Sheep Math Game
Print, cut and laminate enough sheep so there is one for each player.
Staple the sheep heads onto 9 oz. clear Solo brand punch cups.
Give each child a sheep. Have them put 20 pompoms in
each
sheep (cup). Print, cut and laminate three sets of the cards
attached. Put them in the center of the table. Also put
a small brown paper sack in the center of the table to represent a
bag of wool. Have the first child flip a card off the pile.
Have them identify the number and then have them “shear that many
pieces of wool off their sheep” (take a tweezers and put the correct
number of pompoms into a small brown paper bag at the center of the
table). The first one to have their sheep completely sheared
(cup empty) is the winner.
