Cotton Candy One to One Correspondence
Print the page. If you want to reuse the pages, laminate them.
Have the children take tweezers and put pompoms on each cone to
"make" cotton candy.
Another option is to have children glue
pastel colored cotton
balls on each cone.
Yet another option
is to have the children dot each cone with a bingo marker.
Printable Page
If you would like to extend this into a math
activity, you can print
several pages of cards, cut them apart and
laminate them. Have the children pick a card, identify the
number, then put the corresponding number and color of pompom or
pastel cotton balls on the page. The first one to fill their
page is the winner.
If you want to extend the activity even further,
you can have the children
graph their results on the graphing page.
