Eric Carle Type Art Project

**this was sent in by a viewer-THANKS Michelle**

Start by having the kids work with a friend finger painting an entire sheet
of poster board using dark blue and white finger paint.  Have the children
mix the paint using their hands as a stamp to cover the entire poster board.
Put the children's names on the on the back, one in each corner.
After the pieces dry, cut them in half.  Continue painting pieces of  construction paper.  You can have the children add pieces of tissue paper
to create a special look.  After the pieces dry, cut them out making a  picture of their choice.
Michelle writes that this is a project that needs to be done in stages
and is very time consuming...but worth it.
