My Favorite Things Book

If you have not seen this book, it is beautiful.  It is an illustration of the song, "My Favorite Things" from "The Sound of Music."
If you are dealing with children who need to learn to deal with disappointment or anger, this book would be a good pick.  You could also use this book at Easter time.  Typically the movies is
played on television some time during Easter weekend.

First decide if you are making a class book or a book for an individual.
In the song, a reference is made brown paper packages tied up with strings.
To go with that theme, take a brown paper sack and cut two pieces
of the paper so that they are 8.5 x 11 inches.  These will be the front and back pages.  Run the brown
sack through the printer and print the front cover.
Print the inside pages on regular paper.  Have the children illustrate the pages.  This also makes a nice tribute book to give as a thank you present.
