Graduation Hats

These are super simple to make.  Take a paper bowl and paint it black.  Let it dry.
Poke a small hole in the center on the top.  Cut a piece of construction paper the is a square
the size of the width of the small sized construction paper.  Poke a hole in the center of the construction paper.  To make a tassel, cut 10 pieces of string that are five inches long. 
Cut another piece of string that is 12 inches long.  Wrap the middle of a long piece of string
around the middle of the short pieces and tie tight.  Then tie a knot in the end of the long piece.
Run a metal metal fastener through the knot, through the paper and then through the bowl.
