Kwanza Weaved Basket

**Patriotic Basket Shown-Change Construction Paper Colors to Make Kwanza Basket**

You will need a strawberry basket to make this project.
Using the large sized construction paper, cut a green, black and red strip of paper the full length. 
Exact width measurements are not being given as strawberry baskets vary. 
Weave the paper in and out all the way around the basket.
As you reach the end you can use a dot of glue on the end of the construction paper to secure
the strip of construction paper.  After all three pieces are weaved, use a pipe cleaner to make a handle. 
By varying the colors of construction paper, you can make a cute basket for any season.
