A my name is...Beginning Sound Emergent Reader

Remember the old tune "A my name is Alice and my boyfriend's name is Andy..."?
This emergent reader that features beginning sounds is a play on the song.

Print the pages and help the children think of word to complete the sentences that have the corresponding beginning sound, then fill the sentences in.  Make sure to explain to the kids that this activity is just for fun. 
Have them illustrate the pages.  Cut the pages apart and bind.

Print the letters of your choice.  Have the children cut the first
letter of their name and glue it to the front of the booklet.

This emergent reader is available to be printed in two different formats
with two of the same pages printed on one page or with two different
 pages printed on each page.
