Native American Large Weather Display





Make this large direction art Native American at this link.
Laminate.  Print three belt buckles on yellow construction paper and cut them out.  Cut strips of brown construction paper to make fish lines.  Print 7 fish on green construction paper and cut them out.  Print the weather cards, cut them out and glue to the middle of the fish.  Glue two plain fish to the "strings".  Laminate. 

Fold a piece of construction paper hamburger style leaving
about 1 1/2" at the top.  Glue the sides down to make a pouch. 
Print the What is the Weather saying and glue that to the front of the pouch.  Laminate.  Take an exacto knife and cut the slit open.  Store the fish in the pouch.  Put velcro on one of the fish attached to the Native American.  Also put
velcro on the backs of the fish. 
Have the children observe the weather then find the corresponding buckle.  Then velcro
it to the fish.
