Meat Tray Block Print Snowman

This activity is more appropriate for school aged children.
Take a foam meat tray and trim the curved edges off of it making it flat.  Have the children take a pencil and etch a snowman on it.  If the children choose they can add a snow by poking dots around the snowman.  Have the children paint over the design with white paint.  Have them lay a piece of black construction paper over the painted tray and press.  Carefully lift the paper off and they will have a beautiful print.
These make beautiful Christmas Cards.  To to that, have the children fold a piece of construction paper in half and stamp the snowman on the front of the card.
