Story Retelling Activity for Old Monster

Print the pages.  Glue the Lion to the upper half of a large sheet of construction paper.  Cut out the the circle of the Lion's stomach, cutting
through both the paper and the sheet of construction paper.  Fold the paper in half and staple the sides together to make an envelope.
Cut out the Monster along the square.  Cut out the stomach piece as well. 
Using clear packaging tape, tape a snack size Ziploc bag to the back of the paper.  Cut out the animals. 
To play you can retell the story by putting each animal in sequence
into the Ziploc bag of the Monster's stomach.  Once all the characters
are inside the Monster's belly, put the Monster inside the envelope Lion's belly.
These are available in both color and black and white.  The color
version would make a great circle time activity for your little ones.
