Tulip Time Art Project
In advance, cut out pieces of construction paper that are 2"x2" for the tulip flowers. Cut out thin strips for the stem the full width of the paper.
Cut out leaf pieces that are 1"x3". Cut long strips for the grass.
Show the children how to fold a piece of paper in half and cut it to make a tulip flower. Show them how to round the corners of the rectangles to make
leaves. Tell them that they can cut the stem pieces to any length
they wish. Give them a large sheet of construction paper to glue it all on to.
Now leave them alone and let them create.
If you teach in a school, it would be so cute to have these projects displayed touching
each other the length of a hall or classroom hall. If you want a quick easy
title for you display, print the page below on LEGAL size paper.
